Welcome to Straight Talk by MD. Recently the Home office has introduced 26 pence per day in terms of Asylum seeker’s support in the UK. As an asylum seeker in the UK, we get £37 a week and which id £5 a day. Due to COVID -19 the price of ethnic goods has gone up to 30~%. So it is very difficult to survive. ANd this attempt by the Home office reflects the hostile environment and it’s a continuation. It’s a shame and slap on the most vulnerable people’s faces just like this. I oppose this kind of policy made by the home office without giving any thought of reality. This is why I am doing an open call to the Home office to come with me to go shopping and I will show them how things are in reality. Please pass your comment and thoughts.
