I am really delighted to announce that I have received my Certificate as a ” Census Champion ” 2021 UK today for working as a Volunteer ambassador in the National Census 2021.
I was helping the Newcastle City Council Census team to approach the local REFUGEES AND ASYLUM SEEKERS. As sometimes they feel reluctant to be on the list. I did fieldwork in the community and as well as helping the families and individuals to do their Census form online. I have also spread it throughout my LAW group cohorts and helped some of them to participate in the census with information.
Although this will not be considered as my legal experience I am happy I was been able to help my community.
